The “St. Cyril and Methodius” state university in Skopje made a Decision to establish the “Goran Stefanovski” Foundation. The decision, on the proposal of the Rector’s Administration, was made on Friday, on the eve of the birthday of this great Macedonian drama – April 27, by the UKIM Senate, after which the procedure for adopting the founding acts and electing the bodies of the Foundation will begin.
The foundation was based on the initiative of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts – Skopje (FDU), where Stefanovski taught dramatic arts for many years, before continuing his life’s journey in Great Britain. In addition to the representatives of the academic community and the Stefanovski family, the Skopje Drama Theater will also participate in the bodies of the Foundation, on whose stage the plays of this author experienced the greatest success, FDU informed on Friday.
