While we are waiting for the judiciary to be reformed, improved or I don’t know what, we have another mechanism at our disposal, according to another law, and that is the law that is under the jurisdiction of the Public Revenue Office and says that the Public Revenue Office has the right to control the citizens of Macedonia and to control the origin of property. Now, in such a situation, I ask myself the question why the PRO has not checked the origin of the property of officials, judges, public prosecutors, owners of companies that work on large tenders with the state, so let’s see if all those numbers match, said VMRO-DPMNE deputy leader Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska.
“We don’t always have to wait for the judiciary to be that. Let’s look at the numbers first, see them and then see what the judiciary will say. But you need to work, to present a quality case so that the judiciary can continue it further,” added Dimitrieska-Kochoska.
The opposition official also emphasizes that VMRO-DPMNE envisages the establishment of a body that will continuously monitor the transactions of officials, judges, public prosecutors and businessmen who work with the state.
