1078 domestic and 770 foreign observers to follow the May 8 double elections

A total of 1,999 observers, translators and foreign reporters were accredited for the second round of the presidential and parliamentary elections on May 8. Most of the observers are the domestic observers– 1078. The elections will be monitored by 770 foreign observers for whose needs 85 translators have been hired. According to the data of the State Election Commission (SEC), 66 foreign reporters have been accredited to report on the elections.

The most domestic observers were accredited by the Association for the Development of Social Innovations “WAKE UP” Skopje – 752, then the Roma Foundation for Democracy – 151, Civil – 82, the Center for Security Research – 46, the Institute for International Relations and Strategies Ohrid – 20, the National Roma Center Kumanovo – 14, the Association for Promotion and Inclusive Development Kumanovo – 12 and the Macedonian Center for Cultural Development – one observer.
