VMRO-DPMNE EC member Sasho Klekovski in an interview with Alfa TV condemned former President Stevo Pendarovski’s nonattendance at the inauguration of newly elected President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova.
“An important difference in our society and our country, when we lose, we lose the sports spirit and we cannot accept defeat, and not accepting defeat further leads to reckless moves. The absence of the former President Stevo Pendarovski should be condemned, it is his and our characteristic to respect the act of election and the institution of the head of state,” said Klekovski.
Regarding the SDSM situation after the defeat, Klekovski emphasized that he expects Dimitar Kovachevski to step down from his post in the party.
