The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje on Saturday issued an order to conduct an investigative procedure against a 41-year-old employee as a Senior Analyst in the Skopje Interior Department, suspected of a prolonged crime of fraud.
Previously, the Ministry of Interior announced that the Department of Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards, in coordination with the Department of Criminal Police, acted against the mentioned person following the report of three persons.
According to the current findings of the investigation and the Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect misled three people, to whom she falsely presented herself as the chief of the Gazi Baba police station and a member of the Commission for affordable social housing. She promised the three injured unemployed persons that she would help them get social housing in the Skopje neighborhood Lisiche at a price lower than the real one, asking them to pay her 12,000 euros for an apartment and 3,000 euros for mediation and drafting documentation, reports the Prosecutor’s Office.
