The internal control at the Ministry of Interior initiated a procedure for sanctioning two police officers following a report for taking a bribe from a foreign national.
According to information shared by the Ministry of Interior, on April 4, 2024, the two uniformed policemen S.S. and S.A. from Skopje, who according to the work schedule in the period from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. had exactly planned routes for moving and recording traffic violations, left the planned routes, turned off the recording system and performed actions without them being recorded.
The police officers acted contrary to the order to use the recording system, and they are also charged with receiving a bribe, reported by a foreign national.
