I will be the one who will correct the government, the supervision over the work of the government is the most important function of the Parliament. We will call the ministers often to ask them for solutions to the problems. I have the idea and the will to do it, said the newly elected Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi.
In an interview with TV Telma’s “Top Topic” political debate show, Gashi stressed that he will work with a positive approach and with kindness, consensually and open to cooperation with all parties, including the opposition parties because they should all be equal.
“I will lead the Parliament as the first among equals, I will try to be open with everyone, especially to be the voice of the political minority and the opposition parties. My hand is wide open for cooperation, but it takes two,” Gashi said.
