A large number of women do not know their labor rights, and those who do, decide to remain silent. The fear that they may lose their job is the main reason for not reporting to the competent institutions, shows data from the study of the Association of Business Women.
Based on the study, the situation is always slightly different in the private sector. We still have vulnerable areas such as the textile industry and the like, where in recent years we see that the situation has slightly improved, but there are still violations of basic human rights, said Elena Blazhevska from the Association of Business Women.
Workers’ rights are violated in relation to the use of annual leave and mobbing, that is, harassment at the workplace. To overcome this problem, female workers should be better informed.
