We are aware that there is enlargement fatigue, but there is even more fatigue from the waiting. Therefore, in the capacity of chairpersons of SEECP, I encourage the European partners to remain consistent, credible and principled towards the European idea. It is not enough to say that the EU is an unfinished story and an unfinished symphony without the Western Balkans, but you should also include the Western Balkans in the orchestra, it should also write notes and participate in European affairs, Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova told the final press conference at the South East European Cooperation Process – SEECP meeting in Skopje.
“The vision for the EU keeps us in shape and in reforms. It helps us to close open bilateral issues in a European way”, Siljanovska-Davkova added.
