Complete ban on movement in forests starting Monday

As of today (Monday), movement in forests is banned from 6 am to 8 pm, and the ban will last until the wildfire risk has reduced, said the Macedonian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy on Monday.

“The complete ban on movement in forests and woodland is introduced in the territory managed by PE National Forests, and it starts from 15.07.2024 and will last until the day of its revocation, in the period from 06:00 to 20:00 the hour. The complete prohibition of movement in the forests will last until the assessment that the risk of forest fires has decreased. Movement in the forests will be allowed only with a written approval issued by the subsidiaries of PE National Forests, for the area they manage,” informed the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy.
