Considering the needs and demands for an increased engagement in the fire extinguishing operations, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, GordanaSiljanovska-Davkova, has decided to deploy additional 200 Army members, said the General Staff on Thursday.
The General Staff has issued an order for deployment of an additional 200 army staff from the Operations Command and the Training and Doctrine Command, bringing the total number of engaged army staff to 300.
Along with the existing 100 members, who have been deployed since the beginning of the declaration of the state of crisis, the additional forces will carry out activities in locations where there is a need and which will be assigned to them by the Crisis Management Center, which is responsible for the coordination of all involved institutions.
