Macedonian Ministry of interior reached a conclusion on Thursday for full mobilization of all available human and technical resources of the Ministry under the operational action “Fire 2024”.
“With this operational action, all the material and technical means at the disposal of the Ministry of Interior will be put to the function of dealing with fires. The departments of internal affairs as regional units of the Ministry of Interior will be constantly on the ground with an increased presence and will closely cooperate with other departments such as the Department of Special Police Operations, the Department of Aviation Units, the Department of Border Affairs and Migration, the Crimean Police and other departments of the Public Safety Bureau. The presence of the police in the field will be increased. There are indications that some of the fires were arson, and all necessary measures will be taken to clear up the cases and sanction the perpetrators,” said the Ministry of Interior.
