It is not true that the wife of Foreign Minister TimchoMutsunski traveled with him to Washington, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)said in a reaction to SDSM’s claims on Thursday.
“We completely deny the information provided by SDSM to the media, related to Minister Mucunski’s trip to Washington. At the same time, we inform the public that despite the fact that there is a diplomatic practice for the Minister of Foreign Affairs to be formally accompanied by a spouse at official events of this kind, the truth is that the Minister was not accompanied by his wife on this trip. The minister was only accompanied by diplomats from the Ministry and the diplomatic-consular representations, who were on the list as part of the official delegation,” said the MFA, once again noting that the information shared by SDSM “is a complete lie and untruth”.
The opposition SDSM asked Minister Mucunski to immediately release the list of all those who traveled to the United States at state expense, which, as the party says, will close this topic once and for all.
