The new composition of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) began its term five months ago, that is, on February 8, 2024. So far, and in an almost three-month election period of double elections, 21 cases in the field of conflict of interest, 61 cases in the field of corruption prevention, as well as 107 cases in the monitoring of property status have been closed, the Commission informed on Saturday.
At the session scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, about 150 draft decisions on established cases from the new composition of the SCPC will be considered. In addition, exactly 103 procedures for offenses provided for in the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest have been initiated and are being actively acted upon.
