In 2018, when SDSM was leading the government, Spasov from the Rating agency received a permit for the construction of a photovoltaic plant with a power of 2.18 megawatts under the name “Gamma Solar 1”, VMRO-DPMNE MP and spokesperson Marija Miteva told a press briefing.
“When Spasov got the permit for the construction of the photovoltaic plant, Venko Filipche, the current SDSM leader was a minister in the government. The question arises whether Venko Filipche played a role in obtaining the approval and whether Spasov is personally indebted to Filipche? The photovoltaic plant owned by Spasov is not a small capacity, and according to energy experts, up to 2 million euros are needed to build and put it into operation. Spasov’s photovoltaic plant can generate up to half a million euros in revenue per year, which for a period of 20 years, which is the optimal lifespan of it, will mean 10 million euros in revenue. Is this business of 10 million euros a source of income for all the lies and cheap PR of SDSM? Instead of relying on Spasov’s constructions, it would be better for SDSM to prepare for a long opposition and accountability, both political and institutional, for all the crimes they committed,” Miteva said.
