Last active wildfire successfully extinguished

The last active wildfire in the country was extinguished Thursday morning. As announced by the Center for Crisis Management (CMC), the extinguished fire was the one in Makedonski Brod, near the Jasen park.
The Jasen park employees, backed by two airplanes from the Ministry of Interior, have been working on completely extinguishing the fire since 8:00 a.m., even in the part of the internal combustion of logs and burnt trees. There is no smoke at the moment, and the aircraft have been moved to the side towards the village of Tazhevo and Breznica, Municipality of Makedonski Brod. There, 40 members of the Army, 30 people from the special forces of the Ministry of Interior and 10 firefighters from Makedonski Brod Firefighting Team are involved in extinguishing the fire. On that move near Tazhevo, the mayor of Makedonski Brod included a construction machine that works towards the village of Tazhevo,” said the CMC.
There were a total of 18 wildfires in the last 24 hours, of which only the fire near Makedonski Brod was active, five were under control, and 12 were extinguished.
