A Skopje public prosecutor has sent a notification informing that the investigation into Ljupco Palevski, the prime suspect for the double kidnapping and brutal murder of Vanja Gjorchevska (14) and Panche Zhezhovski (74) has been completed, the Public Prosecutor’s Office said in a press release on Thursday.
“This is the end of the legal deadline for the defense to inspect the evidence. After the expiration of this term and the submission of charges, the public prosecutor will propose the merger of the court proceedings against a total of five defendants for this criminal-legal event, because there are legal grounds provided for in Article 28 of the Law on Criminal Procedure. In order to enable the uniformity of the procedure, the prosecution will request a postponement of the hearing scheduled for July 30 against the four previously accused,” the Prosecutor’s Office said.
