We are witnessing a tragicomic situation – SDS, who were in power for seven years, are organizing a protest on Monday in front of the Ministry of Education and Science. A group of SDS members will protest demanding higher wages for teachers. Former state secretary in the MES, Biljana Kazandziska, organized the protest, said VMRO-DPMNE MP Sergej Popov at a press conference on Saturday.
“The party whose ministers, while they had the opportunity to work for the people, ate bison fillet, veal carpaccio and mussels while paying 400 euros for dinner from an official credit card has no credibility to talk about anything. The third person in the hierarchy in the institution, who had the opportunity to contribute to better salaries and working conditions for teachers, she, along with her minister with whom they were in a coalition, did not foresee funds in the budget for this purpose for 2024,” said Popov.
