Starting from September 21 to 29, Skopje and the ‘Boris Trajkovski’ Sports Center will host the IDO 2026European Dance Championship, an event featuring over 2,900 performers from 26 countries.
At today’s press conference, the event organizer, Trajche Petkovski from the “Break a Leg” dance studio, emphasized that hosting an event of this caliber is the result of years of hard work by the entire dance community, the children, and their parents.
“Skopje and the ‘Boris Trajkovski’ Sports Center will be the hub of dance activities in 2026. Our goal is for the children to prosper and develop their skills, but also to bring international participants to Macedonia to showcase our quality, culture, hospitality, and tradition. With the support of the entire team and our technical partners, we will transform the ‘Boris Trajkovski’ hall from a sports arena into a magnificent theater and dance experience,” stated Petkovski.
