An employee of an accounting office that cooperated with the Rubicon Security Agency testified today at the trial for the fire in the Pulse nightclub that she had never encountered a material document that would show that there was business cooperation between the nightclub and Rubicon.
When asked by the prosecutor whether they had ever prepared or seen an invoice with an indication for the entity MMM Cafe DOOEL, i.e. for the Pulse club, in their documentation, she said no, MIA reports.
When asked if she could indicate that there was ever any material document that there was business cooperation between Rubicon and Pulse, she also said no.
According to her testimony, she indicated that their office had cooperated with Rubicon since its establishment in 2022 or 2023.
“We do the accounting, we have cheaper labor in Prilep, we know Jane, that’s why he came to us. Since the founding of Rubicon, 2022 or 2023, we have been cooperating. At first, Rubicon was not active until it received a license, and after they became active, they first made invoices themselves and sent them to us, then we made them – she testified.
Answering questions from the prosecutor, she indicated that they were hired by Jane Janchevski, the owner of Rubicon, and that by the day of the incident on March 16, 2025, according to their knowledge, there were about 25 to 26 employees there.
“The registration and deregistration of employees went through our office, we had electronic access with notification of the owner or an employee, we made a registration or deregistration ,” said the witness.
When asked if they ever had an electronic token for the needs of Rubicon she replied that they did not and confirmed that they communicated with Janchevski and sometimes with Aleksandar Nacev about the duties. The witness also replied that she did not know Trajche Dimishkovski.
