Bulgarian institutions are deciding on six male cattle that crossed the border from Macedonia a few days ago near the Kjustendil village of Gjueshevo.

The animals were captured and placed in a temporary livestock facility of the Municipality, while a commission of authorized Bulgarian and Macedonian services decided what to do in the case, BNRNews.bg reported Thursday.

The livestock were spotted on the territory of the village of Gjueshevo. They were captured and transported to a temporary livestock facility. Now, the Regional Food Control Commission, border and municipal authorities will decide what to do with them.

Several years ago, the cow Penka violated border restrictions by entering from Serbia near the Kjustendil village of Oltomanci.

According to European regulations, after entering from a country outside the EU, she had to be killed. It became an international problem – in the end, the cow was spared, and its owner from the village of Kopilovci cared for her in his herd for years.
