Health Minister Venko Filipche stressed at Thursday’s press briefing that it was encouraging that the number of new cases of COVID-19 is declining, but still that it is still too early to declare victory in the fourth wave, and urged citizens to get jabbed.
So far, almost 700,000 citizens have been vaccinated. The interest for vaccination of the younger population between 18 and 40 years of age is growing significantly.
New numbers are declining, but it is still too early. I urge for mass vaccination, especially for parents whose children will be starting school and kindergarten soon, to protect their families,” said Minister Filipche.
