Official veterinarians of the Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA), at the Kjafasan border crossing, stopped a shipment of over 10 tons of lambskin originating from Albania, which was supposed to transit through Macedonia.
The shipment was returned in accordance with the adopted preventive measures to protect against the spread of the disease Peste in Small Ruminants (PPR), or “goat plague”, which is present in neighboring Albania.
