FM Mucunski reaffirms commitment to EU membership at Atlantic Council event

As part of his working visit to Washington D.C., Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski took part and addressed an event organized by the Atlantic Council, dedicated to Macedonia’s transatlantic priorities.

In his address, FM Mucunski highlighted the country’s key foreign policy priorities, emphasizing the commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership with the United States of America, as well as the country’s active role as a trusted security partner within NATO and the region.

The FM also addressed efforts to promote economic cooperation, including ongoing initiatives to deepen bilateral trade relations with the United States.

In the context of European integration, Mucunski reaffirmed the strategic commitment of the Republic of N. Macedonia to membership in the European Union, while pointing out the challenges related to bilateral issues and emphasizing the need for a credible and predictable enlargement process.
