Macedonian MPs join parliamentary delegation to observe elections in Hungary

MPs Monika Zajkova, Head of the Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), and Mimoza Musa, a member of the delegation, are taking part in the OSCE PA Election Observation Mission to Hungary on 12 April, 2026.

The mission consists of more than 130 MPs from 37 OSCE countries, who are deployed to observe the elections in several regions of Hungary. The Special Coordinator of the OSCE Short-Term Election Observation Mission to Hungary is Sargis Khandanyan, Member of Parliament from Armenia and Chair of the OSCE PA Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, and the Head of the OSCE PA Observation Mission is MP Rupa Huq, Member of the United Kingdom Delegation to the OSCE PA.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is observing the elections in Hungary for the fourth time. The OSCE PA observers are working closely with the Head of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) Mission, Eoghan Murphy (Ireland), his team of 15 international experts based in Budapest, 18 long-term observers deployed throughout the country since 26 February 2026, as well as around 200 short-term observers deployed on Election Day. The OSCE PA team is also working with a 32-member delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, led by Pablo Espan, an MP from Spain.
