The police detained 10 drivers for reckless driving over the past 24 hours nationwide.
Eight were driving without a driver’s license, two each in Skopje, Prilep and Gostivar, one in Tetovo and one minor in Chashka. One driver in Negotino was driving under the influence of alcohol, and one driver in the Negotino region caused a traffic accident while driving under the influence of alcohol and with an active driving ban.
“We urge all drivers to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive a vehicle without a passed driving test or if they have a driving ban imposed or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and let us all contribute together to safer traffic,” the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a press release.
