Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said last night that in order to start negotiations by chapter, constitutional amendments will have to be made, which will have to include parts of other peoples living in the country, which are not included in the Preamble.
“At the moment we are talking about Bulgarians, Croats, Montenegrins, but parts of the Israeli people have already expressed such a desire, the Egyptians have already submitted an official request. We are a multicultural, multi-confessional society and we have been proven as such in Europe, practically we represent a society that is Europe in miniature, because Europe is a community of diversity and I think that there should be no problem regarding those constitutional amendments”, PM Kovachevski said in an interview with Sitel TV.
