The healthcafe authorities did not change the family doctors’ minds, that’s why they are starting the three-day protest as of Monday. They will be in their offices, but they will not issue referrals and prescriptions, they will only examine emergency patients.
The main demands of the Private Physicians Association, for which they are protesting for the 4th time this year, are an increase in the capitation point, i.e. more money from the state due to high inflation and that patients should be referred to the doctor’s office and not to the family physicians.
