Macedonian tennis player Lina Gjorcheska failed to win a place in the semi-finals of the strong futures tournament which is being played in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Gjorcheska’s opponent was Anastasia Tikhonova, who showed more on court number one and advanced to the next stage with a 2-0 in sets.
The first set belonged to the Russian with 6-3, and in the second there was a bigger fight, a fight that lasted 48 minutes and ended with 7-5.
With this, Tikhonova scheduled a match with compatriot Darija Astakhova. This tournament is played on hard court for a prize pool of USD 40,000.
