One of the main topics of the regular ministerial meetings of NATO member states is conflicts. Here, Ukraine is once again put on a pedestal, that is, which country will participate in what way, because the needs are increasing again from what Ukraine is asking all NATO member states, but also to share everything that is happening there in the military operations, Macedonian Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski said in an interview with the national broadcaster MRT.
“There is an initiative for every country where it can help. Every country can participate directly, that is, with America. The funds are given to America, and America can help Ukraine with new weapons. Depending on the needs, each country should allocate additional funds, etc.,” Misajlovski elaborated.
“This is ‘devilishly difficult’ I would say. You do not have an unlimited budget in the ministry to help each side, but we give the maximum according to our capacities to be present and help as much as we can. We will help as much as we can, but the main priority is the Macedonian Army,” said the Minister of Defense.
“I have said many times, first of all, the priority is the Macedonian Army, how to modernize, how to endure these difficult years and I think that will be the main topic in Ankara, where defense, the budget, implementation, and target capabilities, but also the issue of Ukraine,” stressed Minister Misajlovski.
