Current geopolitical developments once again confirm that enlargement and the EU is not just one of the policies of the European Union, but a strategic investment in the future, security and competitiveness of Europe, Macedonian Minister of Digital Transformation and VMRO-DPMNE’s International Secretary Stefan Andonovski said Tuesday in Vienna.
The minister took part in the panel discussion “Enlargement of the European Union: From Commitment to Readiness of Candidate Countries”, within the Political Assembly of the European People’s Party (EPP) in Vienna, accompanied by MP IvankaVasilevska.
In his address, Andonovski welcomed the strategic determination of the European People’s Party (EPP) to continue the EU enlargement policy.
“The question today is not whether enlargement is necessary. The question is whether Europe is ready to turn its strategic ambitions into political decisions,” MinisterAndonovski stressed.
