The Army announced that on Monday, August 17, starting at 7 p.m., the Army’s artillery battalion will conduct an honorable artillery firing by firing ten volleys from six artillery pieces at the Ilinden barracks in Skopje.
The honorable firing is part of the celebration of its holiday, August 18 – Army Day.
The central celebration will be held the next day, August 18, at the Water Training Camp in Ohrid near the BiljaniniIzvor anchorage, starting at 11 a.m.
According to the protocol, the ceremony will be addressed with appropriate speeches by Macedonia’s President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces GordanaSiljanovska-Davkova, Minister of DefenseVladoMisajlovski, and Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General SashkoLafchiski.
