PM Mickoski on Makedonium scandal: I will demand dismissal of the director and the Management Board today

What happened there is indeed something that should not have happened. I will ask the Minister of Culture and Tourism to dismiss the director of that institution, along with the Management Board, because an institution of that type should not be rented out or used for such purposes, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Wednesday in response to a reporter’s question regarding the rental of the Ilinden monument Makedonium in Krushevo.

The PM apologized to the citizens for the oversight and pledged that efforts would be made to ensure such an incident does not happen again in the future.

“I will demand the dismissal of both the members of the Management Board and the director of that cultural institution as soon as today,” PM Mickoski stressed.
