The Macedonian Parliament, within its 90th session Wednesday, with 71 votes in favor and 11 against, elected AdmirShabani as Deputy Minister of Defense, while DritonSulejmani as Deputy Minister of Education and Science.
Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, explaining the proposals, noted that the election of two deputy ministers is a solution that is not just a staffing decision, but part of the broader process of strengthening institutions, restoring trust in the state and building a system that works in the interests of citizens.
“Our duty as a Government is to appoint people who have knowledge, integrity and a sense of state responsibility. People who will work dedicatedly, professionally and honestly, in the service of the state and all citizens,” said Mickoski.
PM Mickoski responded in the debate to the accusations of HalilSnopce from the Alliance of Albanians – AA, who criticized the proposal for deputy ministers but also the work of the Government.
“The people gave you credit, and you should keep your promises,” said Snopce, expressing remarks about the implementation of the program of the ruling parties.
