Official data confirms that wages in Macedonia are recording significant growth. In March 2024, the average net wage was MKD 40,496, while in March 2026 it reached MKD 48,433. This means that in two years the average net wage has went up by nearly MKD 8,000, or 19.6 percent, VMRO-DPMNE MP Bojan Stojanoski told a press briefing Sunday.
The ruling party representative says that in the same period, price growth was 7.8 percent, or when wage growth is adjusted for price growth, the real increase in the average wage is close to 11 percent.
