The construction of the second phase of the railway from Beljakovce to Kriva Palanka on the eastern part of Corridor 8 is being implemented with increased dynamics, PE Railways Infrastructure director Sinisa Ivanovski said in a social media post on Wednesday.
“Construction activities on the construction of the railway to Bulgaria. Section 2, from Beljakovce to Kriva Palanka. Length 34km. Progress 35%. We are recording increased intensity of construction activities,” said Ivanovski.
Simultaneously, the public call for supervision for the third section from Kriva Palanka to the border with Bulgaria has already been announced, and next month the international public call for the selection of a contractor is expected to be announced as well for the section stretching from Kriva Palanka to the border with Bulgaria.
