Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has reaffirmed his support for the construction of data centers in the country, saying these centers, alongside AI, are the key to future technological development.
“Yes, I am in favor of data centers and will continue to be because this is the future. Today’s world sees its development only through data centers and AI, and I will not allow – as engineer and professor – for my country and my citizens to be in the back but at the front of the group that promotes this type of industry,” PM Mickoski told Kanal 5.
Every opportunity involving this type of industry will be seized, he adds, and several such investments are already in the pipeline.
