World famous DJ David Guetta with his FULL MONOLITH STADIUM SHOW is coming to Skopje on September 8th for the celebration of 35 years of the country’s independence, the Government announced at Tuesday’s press conference attended by Government spokesperson Marija Miteva, and Boban Milosheski from the Avalon music production, which will organize the concert in cooperation with the Government.
The events of the celebration will be held from August 8 to September 8, when David Guetta will perform at the “Toshe Proeski” stadium in Skopje. As the main star of the celebration, and at his request, at a press in Skopje, only he was announced by the performers, and in the coming period two more world events for the celebration and another 120 participants from Macedonia will be announced who will enrich the program for the state jubilee, not only in Skopje, but also nationwide.
“Our goal is for this celebration to have both a stately weight, a contemporary cultural and production approach, and international recognition,” said spokesperson Miteva.
The spectacle called David Guetta – The Monolith Stadium Show at the Toshe Proeski Stadium will be a free public event with registration for a symbolic price of MKD 35 per ticket, a number that directly associates with this year’s state jubilee, in order to preserve the stadium’s capacity;
“My basic idea was that if we celebrate, then it should be a great celebration. Without serious competition, the biggest show by a European artist this year is called ‘David Guetta Full Monolith Stadium Show’. From a musical, and especially from a production aspect, this is something unprecedented in Europe, and I can say even in the world. And we made an effort to see the same show in Skopje on September 8th,” said Milosheski.
