The average monthly net wage paid per employee in December 2025 was MKD 46,889, an increase of 7.6% compared to the same month in 2024, the State Statistics Office (SSO) said Friday.
This increase is primarily due to the increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Transport and storage by 13.4%, Agriculture, forestry and fishing by 10.9% and Wholesale and retail trade; Repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles and Education by 9.7%.
An increase in the average monthly net salary paid per employee, compared to the previous month, was recorded in the sectors: Transport and storage by 12.8%, Mining and quarrying by 9.0% and Construction by 7.0%.
The average monthly gross wage paid in December 2025 was MKD 70,520.
