The Delchevo police arrested a police officer for driving without a driver’s license and seized the vehicle, the Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed Monday.

“This morning at 6:45 a.m. on the Macedonia Boulevard in Delchevo, police officers from the Delchevo Police Department arrested S.D., aged 23, from the Delchevo village of Trabotivishte. During a traffic control, the police officers stopped a Volkswagen Golf passenger vehicle with Delchevo license plates, which he was driving, and it was determined that he was driving the vehicle without having previously acquired the right to drive a vehicle – that is, without a driver’s license,” the Ministry of Interior reported.

As the Ministry of Interior noted, a public prosecutor has been informed, on whose instructions the vehicle was seized, and the person had been detained.

Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect after fully documenting the case, the Ministry of Interior added.
