The price of diesel is set to drop by MKD 6.5 per liter as of Monday midnight, while the prices of gasoline fuels are set to increase by MKD 1, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said Monday.
The reference prices of petroleum derivatives on the world market, compared to the previous calculation, have increased on average: for gasoline by 2.212%, for diesel by 8.237%, for extra light oil by 4.389% and for fuel oil by 2.793%.
The exchange rate of denar versus dollar in the past period after which the prices were formed with the previous calculation is lower by 0.5477%.
From 1.9.2026, from 00:01, the maximum prices of petroleum derivatives will be:
Motor gasoline EUROSUPER BS – 95 94.00 (denars/liter)
Motor gasoline EUROSUPER BS – 98 96.00 (denars/liter)
Diesel fuel EURODIESEL BS (D-E V) 95.00 (denars/liter)
Extra light fuel oil 1 (EL-1) 97.00 (denars/liter)
Mazut M-1 NS 44.410 (denars/kilogram)
Retail prices of gasoline EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 increase by 1.00 den/liter.
The retail price of EURODIESEL (D-E V) decreases by 6.50 den/liter.
The retail price of Extra Light Household Oil (EL-1) is reduced by 3.50 den/liter.
The retail price of Fuel Oil M-1 NS is reduced by 1.166 den/kg and will now amount to 44.410 den/kg.
“We note that these are the maximum prices of oil derivatives as of midnight September 1st. Wholesalers and retailers of oil derivatives and transport fuels can set the prices of individual oil derivatives and transport fuels lower than the highest established prices,” said the ERC.
