The epidemiological situation in Gostivar is stable and is continuously being monitored by healthcare institutions, the Macedonian Ministry of Health said in a press release Monday.
The Health Ministry said a total of 84 initial examinations were recorded in Gostivar on August 2, which is an increase of 27 compared to the previous day, when 57 examinations were recorded.
Despite the daily increase in examinations, the Ministry said the number remains significantly lower than the July 18 peak when 649 initial examinations were registered.
Regarding the appearance of West Nile fever in the country, the Ministry said no new cases have been registered, and the latest suspected cases tested negative for the virus.
