This morning in Brussels, I met with the representatives of the member states in the Enlargement Working Group of the Council of the European Union (COELA), Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade TimchoMucunski said in a social media post Monday.
“I reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to the European path, with a focus on delivering concrete reform results to improve the lives of citizens and further alignment with EU standards. I emphasized the progress in the reform agenda, the existing coordination and the active approach of all institutions in this direction” Mucunski pointed out.
The Macedonian FM added that he made an overview of the current activities that the Government is undertaking to accelerate the integration process, emphasizing the necessity of a clear, predictable and merit-based accession process, as a common interest for both candidate countries and member states.
