Exhibition revives memory of tragically killed President Boris Trajkovski

With the sounds of the national anthem, in a solemn and dignified atmosphere in the Parliament, the event dedicated to paying tribute to former President Boris Trajkovski – a statesman whose character and work left a deep mark on modern Macedonian history began.

The ceremony was attended by members of Trajkovski’s family, his friends and associates, MPs and numerous guests, who jointly paid tribute to the president recognized for his humanity, vision and aspiration towards a united and democratic society.

As part of the event, a portrait of President Boris Trajkovski, a work by the author Valbona Atanasovska, was unveiled. The portrait was unveiled by Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, who emphasized that this is not only a tribute to a president, but also to the values that Boris Trajkovski represented – peace, tolerance, dialogue, humanity.

In honor of Boris Trajkovski, the exhibition “The Life and Work of Boris Trajkovski through Photographs” was opened, which, through selected archival photographs, captures his life path, political activity and the lasting legacy he left behind. This act represents a symbolic, but sincere respect for the values that Boris Trajkovski lived and represented – mutual understanding, a democratic society and a European vision.
