SDSM leader VenkoFilipche is losing control, as evidenced by the insult directed at the Prime Minister, whom he called an “idiot”. This is a disgrace to the Macedonian political scene, to SDSM, and to Filipche as its leader, saidMP and VMRO-DPMNE whip Nikola Micevski.
“Such shameful insults against a Prime Minister do not befit an opposition party that aspires to govern one day. This is hate speech, the speech of a man who is clearly in a serious crisis and a difficult situation. Filipche is displaying intense fear and giving the impression that he is under pressure from internal divisions and external demands. This is the speech of a man being blackmailed. This is not language befitting a doctor or a member of the academic community,” said Micevski.
As VMRO-DPMNE’s whip, he says that he and his fellow MPs clearly condemn the hate speech used by the Social Democrat leader.
MP Antonio Miloshoski also condemned the language used by the SDSM leader.
“This is unbecoming language for a professor and party leader. Such vocabulary (‘such an idiot, a complete one’) and insults are more characteristic of an agitated person acting under duress than of an opposition politician aspiring to be the country’s prime minister. Anger and hatred are never good allies in public appearances. It is concerning,” said MP Miloshoski.
