Five Macedonian families have so far sought evacuation assistance due to the Greek wildfires, the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (MFAFT) said, citing information from the diplomatic-consular office in Thessaloniki.
“In coordination with the competent Greek authorities, they were directed to the nearest points designated for this purpose, where the remaining tourists were also taken care of,” the Ministry informed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade once again urges Macedonian nationals who are in the affected areas and need assistance to contact the Ministry’s hotline **+389 75 268 736**, the email address **[globalsos@mfa.gov.mk](mailto:globalsos@mfa.gov.mk)**, as well as the hotline numbers of the Consulate of the Republic of Macedonia in Thessaloniki: **+30 694 526 8068** and **+389 71 323 001**.
