FM: Digital transformation, innovation and ICT sector should become a stronger part of the economic agenda with Greece

Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade TimchoMucunskiattended and addressed the Business Forum of Information and Communication Companies, organized by the Chamber of Commerce for Information and Communication Technologies – MASIT and the Association of Information Companies of Greece (SETPE), which was held in Skopje.

In his address, FMMucunski emphasized that the forum represents another important step in building a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries, based not only on political dialogue, but also on economic growth, innovation and mutual competitiveness.

“The integration of foreign trade into the portfolio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade was not just an administrative change. It was a political message. A message that our diplomacy must deliver more trade, more investments, greater access to markets and more concrete opportunities for our companies,” FM Mucunskinoted.

Referring to the potential of the domestic ICT sector, the Foreign Minister stresses that it represents one of the best examples of what a country can achieve when talent, entrepreneurship and international markets are united.

“Our country has strong potential in the ICT sector. We have highly qualified professionals, dynamic companies, competitive business conditions and a young generation that is ambitious, creative and globally connected,” Minister Mucunskisaid.
