The Government has adopted the National Energy and Climate Plan 2025-2030, a strategic document that sets the country on a clear path towards energy transformation, sustainable development and full alignment with European policies.
The plan, developed at the proposal of the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, is a key instrument for modernizing the energy sector and fulfilling the obligations of the Energy Community and European regulation.
With a total of 61 specific measures, the Plan includes: 26 measures for decarbonization, 20 for energy efficiency, 3 for energy security, 11 for the internal energy market and 1 for research, innovation and competitiveness.
The focus is on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy sources and significantly improving energy efficiency.
