On the five-year anniversary of the proclamation of Shar Planina as a National Park, Macedonian Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Muamet Hoxha visited the National Park and announced new investments and systemic protection measures.
“Our goal is clear – development, but in harmony with nature. We will not allow profit to destroy nature,” Minister Hoxha pointed out and added that a Tourism Strategy for the park area is currently being developed.
