Macedonian Minister of Interior PancheToshkovskiannounced an urgent upgrade and additional implementation of the “Safe City” system on the roads.
This decision comes immediately after the serious traffic accident on the Skopje ring road in which four people lost their lives.
“Traffic safety is not just a matter of fines, but of awareness and culture. We continue with the technical reinforcement of controls, because one second of inattention can lead to permanent and irreparable losses,” said Minister Toshkovski in a press release Sunday.
